Notice to all potential job candidates

Unfortunately, we have been experiencing fraudulent activity. Please be advised that third parties unrelated to Mortenson are allegedly perpetrating online employment scams. Recipients often receive an unsolicited email or message in social media, from LinkedIn and other platforms, stating that Mortenson is making them an offer of employment. This correspondence can come in many forms. Unfortunately, the scams taking place seek to gather personal information and even payment from applicants.

Note that Mortenson does not send out unsolicited offers of employment, does not make offers for employment without first conducting an in person or phone interview and would never request a submission of payment as part of a legitimate employment offer. You should assume that the communication is not from Mortenson and is not sanctioned or approved by our Company. Additionally, all internet job postings can be validated at https://www.mortenson.com/careers.

We have reported this to the appropriate authorities and are working with our job posting partners to try and prevent this practice. We recommend that you do not respond to the correspondence and do not send money to the perpetrator.

If you have received one of these offers or believe you have been the victim of fraudulent activity via the internet, we would appreciate you filing a complaint with the Federal Bureau of Investigation - Internet Crime Complaint Center: https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx.
