Mortenson received a Certificate of Commendation for Safety Excellence for "Zero Lost Work Day Incidents" by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of North Dakota’s Building Division.
 
“We take great care to ensure each worker returns home safely every day, on every project,” said Senior Project Manager Rob Riness.
 
The safety awards program recognizes safety excellence and the tremendous dividends that safety pays in terms of reduced workers compensation and insurance costs, improved employee production, morale and retention. It was received during the AGC of North Dakota’s 66th Annual Convention in December 2015, held in Fargo, North Dakota.
