Mortenson’s Chantily Malibago joined industry peers to present at the recent BOMA Medical Office Buildings and Healthcare Real Estate conference. The panel topic, “Evolution of Design: Future Proofing Healthcare Facilities,” covered the importance of envisioning and planning for spaces that offer flexibility, in order to maximize health systems’ capital investments.

Today’s healthcare spaces should be built with the expectation of desired future changes in both predictable and unpredictable ways. While this is still easier said than done, dramatic progress has been made to offer better options than systems have experienced in the past.
