Eagle Mountain Data Center team recognized with esteemed Diamond Safety Award by AGC
AGC Diamond Safety Awards

The Eagle Mountain Data Center team has been presented the esteemed Diamond Safety Award by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Utah. The award, which is the highest safety award handed out by the AGC of Utah, evaluates comparable sized contractors' total labor hours worked to the national average.

"We are flattered to be awarded the Diamond award from the AGC and appreciate the opportunity to show our dedication to safe production," Safety Director Mitch Transtrum said. "Our Mortenson Utah team bakes safety into everything we do, from pre-construction to punchlist, to ensure everyone working on our site goes home safely to their families each day."

The EAG team was awarded the Diamond Safety Award based on more than five million worked labor hours at an incident rate of 50% below the national level. Being new to the Utah market, this will set the team apart from many of the other contractors in the Utah area and show that Mortenson is a leader in safety.

Mortenson believes in safety first. There is nothing more important to us than protecting our workers, customers, partners, and the general public. Our relentless focus on Zero Injuries has led to industry-leading performance in safety over the past 66 years. When safety is achieved, quality, productivity, and overall project success follows.
