Las Vegas Stadium Project Receives Diversity Recognition Award from Latin Chamber of Commerce

The Mortenson-McCarthy Joint Venture was named recipient of the Diversity Recognition Award for their efforts and achievements at Las Vegas Stadium. Accepting the award for the Mortenson-McCarthy Joint Venture was Paul Dudzinski, Mortenson-McCarthy JV Project Director and Lynn Littlejohn, Vice President, Community Affairs + Development for the JV project team. "It is a great privilege for Las Vegas Stadium project team to be recognized for diversity," said Paul Dudzinski. "Our jobsite's workforce mirrors the diversity throughout the community and we are humbled by the opportunity to collaborate with so many building partners and small local businesses."

The award was presented to the team at the Latin Chamber of Commerce 2018 Gala in recognition for the commitment to diversity, illustrated by the progress at Las Vegas Stadium. “Currently, $140 million dollars has been awarded to small, women and minority owned businesses and 70% of the workforce is women and people of color," explains Lynn Littlejohn. "We are honored to receive this recognition from the Latin Chamber of Commerce. It affirms that our efforts to involve local small businesses and workers in the project is making a difference in the community and we greatly appreciate our partnership with the Latin Chamber of Commerce.”
