The year 2020 is a significant milestone for Mortenson's Energy Services Operating Group as it recently achieved three years of zero injuries on two of its Solar Operations and Maintenance (O&M) sites in Texas.

"We achieved zero injuries by developing an environment of trust, communication and teamwork between all project stakeholders," Ben Quintana, Service Project Manager, said. "Actively listening to how our daily activities could be improved along with planning and training for new tasks allowed us to achieve our commitments without sacrificing safety or quality."

A celebration of this significant milestone was held with our on-site team members and customer representatives. Due to our continued commitment to safety, quality and top-notch on-site representation and proactive monitoring — we were recently awarded a contract extension for both sites!

As an O&M contractor, we provide daily on-site management. Our services include ensuring performance engineering and analytics, advance inspection and thermal imaging, preventative and corrective maintenance, vegetation, emergency response and plan of action.

In addition to the on-site management services provided, we maintain a Remote Operations Center located in our San Antonio office, where energy production analysts offer 24/7 monitoring for solar sites.
