Mission Ballroom / DenverCO
Reimagining an industrial space to include a state-of-the-art concert venue.

The Mission Ballroom is a scalable, state-of-the-art concert venue that opened in summer 2019. The ballroom features a moving stage that provides flexible capacity from 2,200 to 3,950 guests, unrivaled sight lines via tiered rows, state-of-the-art sound and lights, and a large dance floor. Full-service bars conveniently placed around the venue, maximize flow, efficiency, and patron experience. The building also includes a lobby, mezzanine space, loading docks, support areas, and a 1,700-stall underground parking garage shared by Mission Ballroom and the Office/Retail building. Mortenson self-performed decking, glulams, cmu (partially), and placed 8,708 CY of concrete.

The Mission Ballroom is not only a premier concert facility but also serves as a unique special event space for corporate meetings and other functions, award shows, galas, weddings, receptions, launch parties, trade shows, private events, and more.

The music venue has been designed with three key components: flexibility, unrivaled site lines, and state-of-the-art in-house sound and lighting, which up to this point, has not been addressed in the U.S. modern club concert experience.

The 60,000-square-foot ballroom anchors North Wynkoop, a new 14-acre mixed-use project by Denver-developers Westfield Company, located at the north end of the RiNo neighborhood. North Wynkoop began as an industrial warehouse and distribution campus over 75 years ago.
