Project Executive | Seattle

Bryan is a driven team leader passionate about delivering spaces that promote health and healing. He received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Drexel University and has since led project teams through operations in New York and Washington, with over 15 years of industry-related experience. After relocating to the Puget Sound from New York City in 2017 to be closer to family, Bryan found a home with Mortenson, where the enthusiasm around healthcare matched his own. He joined our team as a healthcare Market Executive before serving as the Director of Business Development for three years, where he played an important leadership role in Seattle and the strategic direction of the business. Bryan firmly believes each project serves a unique purpose in furthering our customers' missions. His desire to expand his expertise, provide an excellent customer experience, and deliver a best-in-class hospital guided Bryan to his current role as a Project Executive.

Bryan's leadership and competitive spirit don't stop at work, as he has remains eagerly involved in his community. Bryan joined the Mount Si Lacrosse Club in 2018 as an assistant varsity coach. A former Division I athlete, he became immediately reenergized by the camaraderie and competitive spirit on and off the field with coaches and players. Bryan continues to utilize his strong leadership skills and successfully led his lacrosse team to a state championship victory in 2023.

Bryan previously served as chairman and currently sits on the executive committee for the American Heart Associate's inaugural Hard Hats with Health campaign in the Puget Sound, which promotes heart health awareness among the construction industry through education and project-specific initiatives. His involvement with the organization has exposed Mortenson to major company-wide initiatives and saved countless lives through education and exposure to potential health risks. Throughout his career, Bryan has volunteered through groups such as Rebuilding Together, the ACE Mentor Program, and NAIOP.

Bryan resides in the Snoqualmie Valley with his wife, a pediatric RN, daughter, and two sons. Renovating their home to support a growing family has become quite the labor of love. Still, when they have downtime, you'll find them hiking, biking, or relaxing at a local brewery, with their lovable Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Rainie, in tow.
