During Carolyn’s 15 year career in the construction industry, she has delivered a wide variety of project types including educational facilities at all levels (K-12 to higher education), hospitality projects, multi-family residences, healthcare facilities, and civic projects. From smaller renovations to expansive new builds, she excels at tailoring a communicative project approach for each customer to ensure success. If pressed, Carolyn would say her favorite projects are multi-phased renovation projects on occupied campuses – the messier the better! Most recently, Carolyn is leading the Portland Community College OMIC Training Center and the Metro Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall Audio Enhancement project, as well as wrapping up the NIKE World Headquarters LeBron James Building.
As the education market sector leader for Oregon and Southwest Washington, Carolyn focuses on developing relationships with new customers and ensuring that our teams deliver on those promises - from the first project kick-off meeting through the last punch list item. Carolyn believes that the best business relationships are built on trust and a true understanding of what makes each entity successful.
Carolyn graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Civil Engineering with a Construction Emphasis and a minor in Spanish. She is a LEED BD+C Accredited Professional. Her passions, both at work and at home, are in the education and development of herself and others. She is an amateur musician and enjoys adventuring with her two young sons, from camping to creating LEGO wonders.
