As a project field engineer, Christian is the direct contact to the project’s trade partners regarding field coordination. He works with his superintendent to ensure areas of work are sequenced correctly and meets with the architect to discuss discrepancies between drawings and their constructability. Christian reviews submittals from trade partners to ensure they capture all the relevant details in their scope and are compliant to the contract drawings. He generates RFIs to relay to the design team if there is a gap in design or a design change is needed to ensure completion of a scope.
Christian enjoys establishing good working relationships with trade partners to hear their perspectives of the job and chat about their interests outside of work. Ultimately, he loves creating an environment where everyone works as a cohesive project team.
A recent graduate of the University of Washington Construction Management program, Christian now helps support students within that major by participating in Capstone. Outside of work, Christian likes to live a very active lifestyle. Whether he’s competing in the Spartan Race Super, hiking, or taking a quick road trip to a surrounding city, he is excited to continue exploring all the PNW has to offer. An avid musician as well, he loves to play guitar, piano, ukulele, mandolin, and has even tried playing the alto saxophone.
