James is the Vice President and General Manager for Mortenson's Energy Storage & Solutions group. Energy Storage & Solutions concentrates on energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and microgrids.

Prior to Mortenson, James was with McKinsey & Company. James earned his B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of Minnesota and his MBA in Strategic Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
