As Development Senior Project Manager, Jon is responsible for advancing new development opportunities with developers across a variety of product types. Jon also serves as owner's representative for active development projects nationally, monitoring the overall project health and providing leadership to Mortenson's development and construction teams.

Prior to joining the development group, Jon provided over 12 years of design-phase leadership and estimating for Mortenson's Chicago and Minneapolis markets with a focus on healthcare. Jon led the design-phase efforts for the Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic in Rockford, IL and the Hennepin Healthcare Clinic and Specialty Center in Minneapolis, MN. Jon also spent three years as a commercial real estate senior advisor and owner's representative leading accounts for a Minneapolis based Fortune 500 financial services company, St. Francis Regional Medical Center, and RBC Wealth Management.

Jon earned an MBA from Bethel University, an undergraduate degree in business from North Park University, and a technical degree in architectural drafting and estimating from Dunwoody. Jon provides non-profit board leadership currently serving as chairman for his global church denomination executive board. Jon and his wife Eme, along with their three kids, love spending time outside on the trail, in a boat, on the slopes, in the pool, on the field and reading in the hammock.
