As Field Operations Manager, Jon is responsible for the overall direction of field forces of Mortenson’s Wisconsin operations, including relationship management, preconstruction, constructability reviews, as well as hiring of all field personnel.

Jon’s 19 years of construction experience includes a broad range of projects across the municipal, healthcare, data center, laboratory, corporate, museum, and renewable energy markets. Jon is a member of the United States Green Building Council, the Milwaukee Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, as well as the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Concrete Institute. He is currently serving on the WEPA (Wisconsin Environmental Policy Act) Governance Board, which encourages environmentally sensitive decision-making by state agencies.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hunting, fishing, and continuously remodeling their house. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of builders via STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) curriculum, and often volunteers at local schools to bring real-world learning into the classroom. Jon also places a high importance of providing work opportunities to minority/disadvantaged/women-owned businesses in our community.
