Kathy Johnson
Workforce Development Manager | Chicago

As workforce development manager, Kathy leads our efforts to successfully plan, coordinate and execute local project-based workforce development initiatives and programs for members of the community, seeking to develop construction and building trades careers. She is passionate about bringing sustainable change to the Chicago area and the industry as a whole, believing that our communities are only as good as how every member is accepted, respected, and treated.
 
Kathy brings over 20 years of experience in human resources, criminal justice, education, nonprofit, and workforce development, most recently serving as Supervisor of Workforce Programs with the City of Chicago Department of Family Services (DFSS). 
 
Kathy is an Illinois State University graduate and has volunteered her time with numerous community organizations, including Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, 4-H Leaders of McLean County, Professionals Assisting Latino Students (PALS), and CASA of McLean County.
