As a leader of Mortenson’s design phase efforts, Laura collaborates with owners, project teams, and Mortenson’s design phase and estimating teams to set projects up for success.  Her ultimate focus is ensuring each owner’s vision is translated into design solutions and construction parameters that support an exceptional customer experience.

Laura is a go-to resource for complex design and construction projects.  Her knowledge and specialized expertise in MEP systems has positioned her as a critical member of our team.  Paired with her positive attitude and excellent communication skills, she is requested by owners and architectural partners alike.

She is an individual who stands out not only within Mortenson, but also within the construction industry. She is professional, knowledgeable, and has the ability to bring together project stakeholders to develop an environment of trust, collaboration, and success.

Laura earned a master’s degree in environmental engineering and a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE).  Laura is involved with a number of local organizations including WHEA (Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association), IFMA (International Facility Management Association), and the Autism Society of Southeastern.
