It’s a commitment that I take personally. Our values create a culture of safety and quality, which creates a workforce that embraces these values. By accomplishing this, we have proven a Zero Injury environment is achievable.
The renewable energy industry is rapidly changing and growing, becoming more complex. So has safety and quality risk when performing work on renewable assets. As leaders in safety and quality, we have created processes and procedures to ensure our teams make the right decisions and do the right thing.
Leading with accountability
Doing the right thing is a belief I take very seriously. It can take years to build respect and accountability, and it can take less than two minutes to destroy it. Doing the right thing starts with the confidence to speak up and ends with support.
My philosophy of engaging team members in doing the right thing starts when they become part of the team. Each team member has the confidence to step forward and do the right thing because they know their leaders will support them through the entire process. For me, there is no other choice than to do the right thing.
